Position: Senior Tax Officer
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities​

• Compute and file various tax returns (VAT, WHT, corporate tax, payroll tax, etc.).
• Prepare documentation and provide support during tax inspections.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities such as TRA and BRELA.
• Assist the finance team in completing tax-related tasks.
• Support group companies in tax compliance and related matters.
• Perform account reconciliations for tax purposes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

Requirements​

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• 3+ years of proven experience in tax computation, filing, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and regulations.

Skills​

• Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
