Job Purpose

The selected candidate will assist in generating maximum cargo sales to meet or exceed revenue/tonnage targets and provide customer service in both sales and operational areas, liaising with Ground Handling Agents (GHA) at stations and Headquarter (HDQ).
Key Responsibilities
- Generate maximum revenue through visits to cargo agents, tele-sales, and promotional activities.
- Ensure the highest standards of operations by monitoring cargo build-up, load planning, and arrival/departure flights for imports and exports.
- Follow up on cargo irregularities and mishandling.
- Arrange and deliver necessary cargo stationeries, forms, and labels to GHA and appointed sales agents to ensure smooth handling and regulatory compliance.
- Assist customers with booking, forwarding, delivery, and claims in coordination with GHA and HQ to ensure high-quality service.
- Maintain close coordination between QR space control and customers to ensure timely shipment transfer and delivery with maximum priority.
- Prepare monthly marketing reports on sales achieved at stations and submit to responsible personnel.
- Coordinate with Customers/Cargo Claims Supervisor at HQ, handling discrepancies, claims documents, and administrative station-related issues.
- Minimum of a High School qualification.
- Working knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), AVI, Temperature Controlled Shipments, IATA, and other cargo-related regulations.
- Knowledge of cargo sales processes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Must be authorized to live and work lawfully in Tanzania.
